Suspension lift kits (about 2–8")
Full-vehicle kits with upgraded shocks, springs, and brackets so you can run larger tires and gain trail clearance.
- Popular on F-150, Silverado, Ram, Tacoma, Wrangler
- Alignment included in every lift quote

One shop for stance, clearance, lighting, armor, recovery, wheels, and overland gear — quoted to your year, make, and model. Not a parts-only catalog. We order, install, align, and stand behind the work.
Rough Country installation · Frederick, MD
Rough Country started as a shock company in 1975 and now covers trucks, Jeeps, and SUVs bumper to bumper: suspension, exterior armor, LED lighting, winches, wheels and tires, interior protection, towing, and overland cargo. Their catalog is vehicle-specific. We use that catalog to confirm what actually fits your cab, bed, drivetrain, and factory options before we order.
Renn Kirby Frederick Auto is the local install shop. You get one conversation for parts, labor, alignment, and follow-up torque checks — in English or Spanish. Call (301) 250-1695 or send the form on this page with year, make, model, and what you want the truck to do.
These match their public catalog: lift kits, suspension, exterior, interior, lighting, winches, wheels and tires, performance, towing, drivetrain, overland, and UTV/ATV. We quote what fits. Our service department confirms fitment, orders the parts, and installs them.
Full-vehicle kits with upgraded shocks, springs, and brackets so you can run larger tires and gain trail clearance.
Raise the front to match the rear for a clean stance without a full lift. Typical range is about 0.75–2 inches.
Spacers between body and frame add tire clearance without changing suspension geometry or ride height the same way a suspension lift does.
N3 and other Rough Country shock lines, loaded struts, and steering stabilizers — as a kit upgrade or a refresh on an existing lift.
Steel and aluminum replacement bumpers built for winch mounts, lights, and trail use — not chrome show pieces.
Rock sliders, skid plates, fender flares, and armor that protect paint and underbody when you leave pavement.
Grille guards, bull bars, hood deflectors, visors, mud flaps, and the rest of their exterior-parts bin — not only bumpers and sliders.
Soft tops, mesh bikini tops, doors, and related Jeep pieces from their Wrangler and Gladiator lines.
Fixed boards and power running boards for crew cabs, Gladiators, Wranglers, and Tacomas — easier entry after a lift.
Off-road LED kits, mounts, LED grilles, headlights, tail lamps, and switch housings — aimed and wired to the vehicle.
Electric winches, mounts, and recovery accessories. A bumper or plate that can take the load comes first.
Wheels, adapters, spacers, center caps, lug nuts, and TPMS pieces from the Rough Country wheel shop.
Rough Country lists tires that match their kits. We can source those sizes or shop live TireConnect inventory and mount them here.
Truck bed covers, bed mats, caps, and related bed gear so tools stay dry after the stance work is done.
Floor mats, cargo liners, seat covers, grab handles, and other cabin pieces from their interior catalog.
Hitches and towing accessories from their towing line. We confirm rating against how you actually tow.
Racks, cargo carriers, and overland pieces for weekend trips — roof or bed, depending on the vehicle.
Intakes, exhaust, and other performance pieces they publish for the chassis — quoted only when the catalog lists a fitment.
Drivetrain pieces from their truck and Jeep map — axles, shafts, and related hardware when they list your year and driveline.
Side-by-side and ATV parts from the same vendor. Our service department confirms fitment, orders the parts, and installs them.
Front comes up to the rear. Best when you want a level look and modest tire growth without changing the whole suspension.
The whole vehicle rises. Use this for real tire size, trail clearance, and the shock/spring package that belongs with that height.
The body moves off the frame with spacers. Ride stays closer to stock. Only when Rough Country publishes a body kit for that chassis.
Step 1
Year, make, model, 2WD/4WD, cab, bed, and any factory options. Photos of the current stance help.
Step 2
We match Rough Country’s vehicle-specific kits — including notes like engine family — before we order.
Step 3
You see kit cost, install hours, alignment, and any extra (driveshaft, sensors, tires) before we start.
Step 4
We install as a certified shop, set alignment, check steering sweep and brake lines, and schedule the mileage re-torque their instructions require.
If Rough Country lists the kit, we can usually install it. These are the platforms we see every week in Frederick and the I-70 / I-270 corridor.
Drivers searching for a Rough Country lift kit near Frederick, Hagerstown, Germantown, or Leesburg usually need two things: the correct kit and a shop that will align it. We are that shop. Kits are not “one height fits all.” A 3-inch F-150 kit is not a 6-inch Ram kit, and some 2025+ trucks are engine-specific.
After a suspension lift, geometry changes. An alignment is not optional. We also check brake-hose slack, steering lock-to-lock, and fastener torque — then ask you back for the mileage re-torque printed in the kit instructions.
A lift without lighting, steps, or a bumper often feels unfinished. Rough Country’s own shop map is broader than lifts: exterior parts, lighting, winches, wheels, bed covers, interior, towing, performance, drivetrain, and overland racks. We quote those as a package when you want one downtime window.
Wheels and tires have to clear fenders and not rub at full turn. If you already shop tires on our TireConnect page, we can hold those sizes against the kit’s recommended tire note before you buy either one. Jeep owners can add tops, doors, and trail extras in the same visit.
Buying a used truck on Buckeystown Pike? Ask sales to add the accessory package to the deal. Already own the vehicle? Book the service department the same way you book brakes or an oil change.
We do not claim every used vehicle on the lot is pre-lifted. Fitment is per VIN and per catalog. Electric and hybrid trucks are quoted only when the kit is published for that powertrain.
No. We offer their full catalog: lifts and leveling, suspension parts, bumpers, grille guards, armor, Jeep tops, steps, LED lighting, winches, wheels and tires, bed covers, interior (mats and seat covers), hitches, overland racks, performance, drivetrain, and UTV/ATV — when they list a fitment. Service confirms the order and installs it.
We are a Frederick dealership service department that sources and professionally installs Rough Country products. Rough Country remains the parts manufacturer. Kit warranties follow their terms. Our labor warranty covers the install.
Yes after a suspension lift, and we include alignment in lift quotes. Leveling kits are quoted with alignment when geometry changes. Skipping alignment wears tires and can make the truck pull.
A lift can affect how a factory or extended warranty treats related systems. We tell you that before you buy. We do not promise a manufacturer will cover parts they say were modified.
A simple leveling kit can be same-day. A 4–6 inch kit with bumpers, lights, or a winch is often more than one shop day. We give a schedule with the quote.
Yes. Sales can package the kit and labor with the purchase so you pick up a finished truck. Inventory photos show the vehicle as it sits today unless we say the work is done.
Yes — Maryland, nearby Virginia, and West Virginia drivers bring their own vehicles. We still need exact year/make/model and options.
Yes. If Rough Country lists it, our service department will confirm fitment, order it, and install what is installable. Send year, make, model, and what you want.
You can. If you do, we can still install if the kit is complete and correct. Most customers prefer we order so missing bags, wrong-year kits, and alignment are our problem — not a weekend return.
Include year, make, model, 2WD or 4WD, and what you want (height, tires, bumper, lights, winch). We reply with fitment and a parts-plus-labor number.
Prices are quoted per vehicle. Catalog photos and street prices on roughcountry.com are not our install invoice. Lifted vehicles handle differently — taller trucks have a higher rollover risk, and larger tires can change braking. We install the manufacturer warning decal their instructions require.
