Maryland State Safety Inspection

Sold inspected. Ready to register.

Maryland will not title or register a used vehicle until it passes a state safety inspection at a licensed station. This one already has.

Included in the price

What that means for your price

Everything the state requires — the inspection itself, plus any repair needed to pass it — is completed in our own shop before this vehicle is listed. A car sold without that certificate leaves the inspection, and whatever it turns up, to the buyer after the sale. Our price already has that work in it.

The inspection alone is a $95 service in our service department. On this vehicle it is already done.

Checked to Maryland standards

Brakes, lines & parking brake
Steering, suspension & ball joints
Tires, wheels & wheel fasteners
Lights, signals & electrical
Glass, wipers & mirrors
Exhaust & fuel system
Frame, floor & underbody
Seat belts & safety equipment
Speedometer & odometer

A Maryland Safety Inspection Certificate confirms the vehicle met state safety standards when it was inspected. It is not a warranty, service contract, or guarantee of future mechanical condition.
